The owner was very understanding and allowed me to down a deposit, and if I don't like it after test driving it later in the week I could have my money back. He doesn't charge a dealers fee, what you see is what you pay+tax. I got a silver 2012 Honda Accord with 75,000 miles for $14k after tax. He could've easily charged me $17k because of how well kept the car was. But he just likes selling cars for a fair price.
